This holiday season, NVC’s Mingo cards and eCards feature the artwork of young friends and supporters. Each purchase will provide Mingo Meals to undernourished children in the Philippines. They are enrolled in a 6-month daily feeding program to help them achieve their full growth potential. Mingo cards (paper or eCard) are Php250 each.

Lucia was born in 2008 in Barcelona, Spain. She now lives in Manila with her parents, Robby and Betsy, and older brother Diego. Her lola, Dolly, is from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. Lucia studies at Saint Pedro Poveda College, where her favorite subject is math. She made this painting when she was 6 years old.

Maxine is an 11-year-old who has more passions than she can name on one hand. Her painting styles range between impressionism for her pet portraits to graphic-arts profiles. She plays the piano and composes her own songs. She is an animal rights advocate and is trying to maintain a red-meat free diet out of compassion for livestock. She also loves YouTube videos and pop groups such as One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer.
